Tom Krotky is a man of imagination and concepts who loves
the water and nature. Born on the shores of Lake Michigan,
he grew up near the waterfronts of New England, the Pacific
Islands and the California coast.
Since his family had a naval background, Tom learned
early to love the sights, sounds and smells of the water.
He has visited many of the major waterways in the United
States and the Pacific.
Tom's career in boat design began in his youth when he
started building ski and drag boats, before advancing
to large houseboats. In 1969, he dared apply his concept
of shared ownership to a project involving sales of condominiums.
With that success behind him, Tom has continued to develop
and research the concept of shared ownership boating on
an International level, to make boating affordable for
most anyone with that desire.
Today, Tom Krotky resides in a lakeside community and
continues working on projects that bring boating and timeshare
together. He offers 30 years experience in this book,
Shared Ownership Boating, to help others acheive their
dreams.
